Ingredients
- ¾ Cup Oats
- 3 cups Flour
- 2 ¼ tsp Instant Yeast
- 1 ½ tsp Salt
- 1 Cup Milk
- ¼ Cup Warm water
- 2 tbsp Unsalted Butter
- ¼ Cup Honey
- 3 tbsp Honey (Warm slightly)
- 2 tbsp Old fashioned Oats
Recipe
- Take a large bowl and make a mixture by adding ¾ cup Oats, 3 cups of Flour, Instant yeast and 1 ½ tsp salt. Let’s call it mixture A
- Then, heat the milk and butter until it melts and let it cool; stir it later with honey and water. Let’s call it mixture B
- Add both the mixture (A+B) and make a smooth and soft dough
- Transfer the dough into a oil greased bowl
- Cover it with a cloth and leave to increase double in size (around 1 hour)
- Put a pan with 2 cups of water and Pre heat the oven at 350 degrees
- Spread warm honey over the dough and sprinkle oats over the top and put it for baking in oven
- Bake it for next 40-50 minutes in the pre heated oven
- Take the pan out after the suggested time and let it cool
- Take the bread out and enjoy the delicious homemade Healthy Oats and Honey Bread.
