Healthy Oats and Honey Bread

Ingredients

  • ¾ Cup Oats
  • 3 cups Flour
  • 2 ¼ tsp Instant Yeast
  • 1 ½ tsp Salt
  • 1 Cup Milk
  • ¼ Cup Warm water
  • 2 tbsp Unsalted Butter
  • ¼ Cup Honey
  • 3 tbsp Honey (Warm slightly)
  • 2 tbsp Old fashioned Oats

Recipe

  • Take a large bowl and make a mixture by adding ¾ cup Oats, 3 cups of Flour, Instant yeast and 1 ½ tsp salt. Let’s call it mixture A
  • Then, heat the milk and butter until it melts and let it cool; stir it later with honey and water. Let’s call it mixture B
  • Add both the mixture (A+B) and make a smooth and soft dough
  • Transfer the dough into a oil greased bowl
  • Cover it with a cloth and leave to increase double in size (around 1 hour)
  • Put a pan with 2 cups of water and Pre heat the oven at 350 degrees
  • Spread warm honey over the dough and sprinkle oats over the top and put it for baking in oven
  • Bake it for next 40-50 minutes in the pre heated oven
  • Take the pan out after the suggested time and let it cool
  • Take the bread out and enjoy the delicious homemade Healthy Oats and Honey Bread.
